Merhaba!
My name is Eda. I didn’t start in design, I started in stories. I studied English Language and Literature, where I explored how people communicate through narrative, rhythm, and meaning. That path led me to a master’s degree in Media and Visual Studies, where I became curious about how visuals and interactivity shape human perception.
Design didn’t come as a sudden pivot. It emerged slowly, from the overlap of structure and empathy, systems and creativity. Over time, I found that UX/UI design offered the space to bring together the things I care about: empathy, experience, and creative problem-solving, and turn them into something people can actually feel and use.
Today, I’m a Junior UX/UI Designer, continuing to grow my experience in crafting digital products that aim to be thoughtful, clear, and human.
My Design Philosophy
I believe good design is quiet — not invisible, but intentional. It supports rather than distracts, and balances logic with moments of delight.
I care about how things feel as much as how they work. I pay attention to friction, language, and patterns that may not need to exist. My goal isn’t to impress, but to make things clearer, warmer, and more usable.
Accessibility, inclusivity, and playfulness are at the core of how I design. I’m especially drawn to microinteractions, gamification, and adding a human touch to digital experiences.
Things I Love
Outside of design, I’m learning to play electric guitar, usually attempting riffs I’m not quite ready for, but enjoying the chaos anyway. I share my space with my adorable orange cat, Mandalina, who gets the zoomies just as often as I do.
I find joy in the little things: the chaos of a good playlist shuffle, the satisfaction of closing all my browser tabs, or finally remembering why I walked into a room. I love digital and tabletop games, creative side quests, and long walks where I can overthink in peace.
I thrive in remote working environments. I enjoy being in motion, whether I’m traveling, observing, or learning, and I let those experiences shape the way I design.
